Terms of Use
Last updated: June 2026
By accessing ardenvaleconstruction.com (the "site"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
These terms govern your use of this website only. They are not the contract for any construction work. Where we are engaged to carry out a project, that project is governed by the separate written agreement signed by both parties, and if anything in these terms conflicts with that agreement, the signed agreement prevails.
Use of the site
You may use the site for lawful purposes only. Information on the site is general and provided for convenience; it is not a binding quote, offer, or professional advice until confirmed by us in writing.
Nothing on this site is engineering, architectural, legal, insurance or code-compliance advice, and it must not be relied on in place of a qualified professional retained for your project. Building codes, municipal requirements and site conditions vary, and general information published here cannot account for them.
Things you may not do
You agree not to use the site to break the law, to submit false or misleading information, to send another person's personal or confidential information without authority, to upload anything containing malicious code, to scrape, harvest or bulk-copy the content, to probe or interfere with the site's security or availability, or to misrepresent your relationship with Ardenvale Construction. We may restrict access where we reasonably believe any of this is happening.
Quotes & services
Any construction work we provide is governed by a separate written agreement. Pricing, availability, and specifications are subject to confirmation.
Estimates and budget figures are based on the information available when they are prepared, and remain subject to site inspection, measured quantities, drawings and specifications, permit and inspection outcomes, latent or concealed conditions, and the availability and cost of materials, equipment and trades at the time of the work. An estimate is not an offer capable of acceptance and does not become binding until a written agreement is signed by both parties. Submitting a form or requesting a quote does not create a contract or oblige us to take on a project.
What you send us
When you send drawings, specifications, photographs, tender documents or project details through the site, you confirm you have the right to share them, and you grant us permission to use them for the purpose of reviewing, scoping, estimating and delivering the work. We treat project material as confidential and share it only as described in our Privacy Policy. Please do not send anything through this site that you consider highly sensitive, and do not send material covered by a confidentiality obligation you cannot satisfy.
Intellectual property
All content, images, and branding on the site are owned by Ardenvale Construction or its licensors and may not be copied or reused without permission.
This includes the text, photography, layout, graphics, logos and the arrangement of the site. You may view and print pages for your own reference in connection with a potential or active project. Any other reproduction, republication, distribution, framing or commercial use requires our written permission.
Site provided as is
The site is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not ensure that it will be accurate, uninterrupted, or error-free.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, conditions and representations of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the site at any time without notice.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ardenvale Construction is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site.
This includes loss of profit, revenue, data, opportunity or goodwill, and applies whether the claim is framed in contract, tort, negligence, statute or otherwise, and whether or not we were advised such damages were possible. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you, and nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ardenvale Construction, its officers, employees and contractors from claims, losses, liabilities and reasonable legal costs arising out of your misuse of the site, your breach of these terms, or material you submit through the site that infringes another party's rights.
Third-party links
The site may link to third-party sites we do not control and are not responsible for.
A link is not an endorsement of the linked organization, its content, products or practices. Once you leave this site, the terms and privacy practices of the destination apply.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
You agree that the courts of Ontario have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these terms or your use of the site, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
Severability and interpretation
If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, that provision is to be read down or severed only to the extent necessary, and the remaining provisions stay in full force. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. These terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the site.
Changes
We may update these terms at any time; continued use of the site means you accept the changes.
The date at the top of this page shows when the terms were last revised. Changes take effect when posted, so review them periodically.
